As part of this month, I’ve been playing and practicing with water, earth, rocks, fabric, the sunlight, the wind and my movements. I enjoy seeing the beauty of how everything transforms and interweaves. The knowing, that everything is connected to each other, is comforting to me, even though I shift between forgetting and remembering.

When we garden, we relate to the rhythms of change. Jiji, the neighbor, is taking care of the seeds his wife planted last year. Fukujuso wildflowers, waiting for the snow to blossom this early spring. The energy of love travels beyond our lives.

今月は、水、土、石、布、太陽の光、風、そして自分の動きと戯れ、実践してきました。あらゆるものがどのように変化し、織り合わさっていくのか、その美しさを見るのが楽しいです。忘れたり思い出したりを繰り返しながらも、すべてが互いに繋がっているという感覚は、私にとってやすらぎとなります。

私たちが庭仕事をするとき、変化のリズムに共感します。隣人のじいじは、奥さんが去年蒔いた種を大切に育てています。福寿草は、この早春の雪解けとともに咲く花を待っています。愛のエネルギーは、私たちの命を超えて伝わってきます。
