Seaside retreat
the sweaty salty sandy (sunny) summer edition 2-5 september
Practice
Two days full of FM sessions. In the mornings we take time for zeroform and gentle partnering.
Afternoons are dedicated to movement situations, games, tools, and more bodybody work.
In the evening we return to zeroforms and deepen into writing and dialogue.
Accommodation
3 nights including breakfast. Arrival Friday evening 2nd September (check in from 5 PM)
Departure Monday morning 5th September (check out 10 AM)
Appartments are shared spaces, no private rooms.
Shared apartment 1: 2x double beds and 2x single beds
Shared apartment 2: 2x double beds

Food
Breakfast is included.
Depending on the weather we will have a breakfast at the beach after the morning session, coffee/tea/fruits/bread.
Lunch/dinner is not included but we can arrange this spontaneously according to the wishes of the group. There is possibility to cook or eat at a restaurant.
Supermarket is 1 min walking from the accommodation.
Planning
Early morning sessions, breakfast, free time, lunch, midday sessions, dinner, evening session.
Practicing outdoors (beach and forest)
Exact schedule will be determined at arrival.
Price
First time price: 200- euro
3 nights of accommodation incl. breakfast, two days of practice.
Travel
If you come by train you travel to Middelburg.
One-time pick up on Friday evening can be arranged according to number of participants arriving, this also applies for the Monday morning.
If you come by car you can park in Oosktapelle centrum for free.
Bikes
There are 6 bikes available, so you can bike from the accommodation to different locations individually. If you have a light bike yourself and you can bring it with you for the weekend, please do so. The beach and various locations are between 5 -15 minutes biking distance.
Weather
It are the mid-summer days in the Netherlands. So, prepare for both swimwear, caps and sun cream as well for rain clothes, proper outdoor sneakers and high socks.
About Fighting Monkey
• FM practice is developed by founders Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea through a deep study of cross motion analysis, and with the aim of understanding principles of human movement, communication and the ageing process.
• Jade has been recognized as an Inspire by FM® instructor / practitioner by founders Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea.
• Inspire by FM is carried out by FM students who share the practice from their own approach and background.
