Teaching

Jade is active as an Inspire by Fighting Monkey instructor and as a guest teacher at various dance universities and movement contexts. She also leads group workshops and individual coaching sessions, all centered around the encounter with one another through embodied practice. Her aim is to cultivate playful practices that deepen our understanding of ourselves and others through embodied experience.

Since 2017 the FM practice has an increasing influence on Jade her physical development, creative reflection and perspective on life. This continuous study and inspiration brought her to teaching Inspire by FM.

Fighting Monkey is developed by founders Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea through a deep study of cross motion analysis, and with the aim of understanding principles of human movement, communication and the ageing process. Jade has been recognized as an Inspire by FM ® instructor/practitioner.

workshops

We explore how embodied interaction shapes our relationship with ourselves and our environment.

private sessions

Individual training sessions for those who love to spend time in nature aan deepen into practice. We zoom into your wishes in regard to movement and wellbeing, actively working with the elements from the Fighting Monkey practice such as joints articulations, coordinations, improvisation and various movement situations.

retreats

Two days of outdoor practice in a small group, with three nights of accommodation included. Each seaside begins with a theme that we explore both personally and collectively throughout the weekend. Always starting from a physical and creative approach, where practice and play go hand in hand.

Each day starts at sunrise, working with elements such as stillness, improvisation, and gentle partnering. Afternoons are devoted to movement explorations, games, tools, and body-to-body work. Evenings bring us back to a slower pace, with space for writing and dialogue. These weekends weave together activation and relaxation, while creating opportunities to meet new people and exchanging perspectives and experiences.
